MRM Nanotechnology GmbH is the winner of the 2006 Innovation Prize, awarded annually by “Initiative Mittelstand” in Germany, in acknowledge-ment of its nanobionic surface treatment in the category Automotive & Nano Glass. Practical benefits, utility and functionality are the main criteria in awarding the Innovation Prize.
MRM Nanotechnology GmbH ranks among the first nanotechnology and bionic engineering companies in Germany. In 1999 it acquired the product line of MRM Weil Chemo Tec. The acquisition and further development of this product line, along with a firm basis in nanotechnology and bionic engineering built over decades, have helped MRM Nanotechnology GmbH to successfully bring exceptional nanobionic products delivering strong benefits in their everyday use to the market. MRM Nanotechnology GmbH currently produces more than 76 different nanobionic products for the treatment of diverse surfaces. The range is divided into three quality grades: consumer, commercial and industrial. The group includes 10 other companies which have specialized in sales and services for MRM nanobionic products. With the launch of the new service providing system, the products have found the perfect placement with professional users, as in nanotechnology applications in the areas of vehicle finishing, refining and customizing, glas reconditioning and refining, Yacht and Kitchen refinement and much more. Around 100 distribution partners and licensees have already been established in this market worldwide. The group engages over 800 Specialists throughout the world.
